The Network and BGP
Unified Web's network is global in its reach and unbeatable in its performance. The foundation of this network is constructed with multiple network connections running to multiple Tier 1 providers.
To ensure high availability, we have redundant routers running BGP between the connections. All network connections are connected directly to redundant routers within the Unified Web data center and to multiple redundant routers on the provider side— each following a unique and diverse path out of our facility. Should any one-network fail or any particular path be congested, we automatically re-route the traffic so that our clients stay connected.
Our network is accessible via dedicated 100Mbps Ethernet connections, or if you prefer, Gig-E connections are available for clients who burst higher than 100Mbps. For complete redundancy, we can provide you with 2 Ethernet ports going to 2 separate switches which then goes to 2 separate routers to eliminate any single point of failure in the network infrastructure.
